In supporting women in the floor covering industry? Absolutely. Our community is specifically for those who identify as women, but we occasionally open trainings to everyone and invite others to participate in the discussion on our public facing facebook page. Because we're not. That also doesn't mean we're sitting on thrones of cash. (See: your Accountant if you need help understanding the difference between a non-profit and not profitable.) It made sense for us to do it this way -- so even though we've received some criticism for this, ultimately, we choose to do what is best for our members so we can continue to serve at the highest level.  

We're what you could call a Not-Just-For-Profit. We've raised money through training and sponsorships that have funded special events, we've covered costs for more women to participate in industry shows that might not otherwise attend, and we have a little more formal giving program in development that will be announced soon.

We facilitate connection and growth and support leadership development through authenticity and harnessing the power of community. Because NEWS FLASH! Two of the most powerful forces on earth are 1. empowered women and 2. community.
