Women of the Flooring Business was founded on the value of Community. We believe that connection can make businesses and the lives of the people in them better. There are more opportunities than ever to find community and connect with other women who understand you and your work.
We’ve put together a list of women’s groups in the flooring, tile, and stone industry so you can check them out and get connected.
Ikigirl (Formerly Fabulous Females in Flooring) This group is a place to support and share with other women working on their personal growth and development. Share inspiration or uplifting stories, photos or memes that you think will inspire or support others!

Tile Chix Tile Chix is a Facebook community of women who are passionate about the tile industry. Whether you're a tile setter, designer, or simply an enthusiast, this group connects and empowers women within the field. The group’s focus is on mentorship, sharing knowledge, and showcasing the work of women in tile.

Women in Tile Women in Tile is dedicated to inspiring and supporting women working in the tile industry. They aim to provide a safe space for women to share their experiences, challenges, and victories, and foster a sense of belonging in what has historically been a male-dominated industry. Women in the Floorcovering Industry Women in the Floorcovering Industry is a 501c3 with programs including scholarships for secondary and continuing education and presenting of professional development and mentoring programs. Their mission is to attract, educate, and empower women in the floor covering industry.

Women in Stone Women in Stone is a supportive network that advocates for women in the stone industry. It provides mentoring opportunities, educational resources, and a chance for women to share their experiences in the stone trade. Women in Stone is also committed to creating leadership pathways for women and providing a space for women to connect and grow within the stone industry.

National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) While NAWIC is a national association for women in the construction industry, its members include those in the flooring, tile, and stone sectors as well. The group provides women with opportunities for leadership development, networking, and advocacy. It’s an empowering space that focuses on creating opportunities for women to succeed in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
